Together! Engaging Women/Empowering Girls...April 28
Thanks to everyone who participated in our Together! 2011 event April 16 at the beautiful Ritz Carlton. Nearly 300 women and girls attended or volunteered to make this celebration of women and girls such a success! Together, we raised more than $35,000 which will go directly to reduce the impact and incidence of domestic and sexual violence through crisis intervention, counseling, support groups and prevention education. With inspirational speakers, luxurious and one-of-a-kind auction items and delicious food, this event was the place to be.

CREW/Safe Connections 15th annual Golf Tournament
We've changed things up this year with a new golf tournament! The 15th annual CREW/Safe Connections Golf Tournament has been scheduled for July 23, 2012 at Norwood Hills Country Club. The dedicated members of CREW are already in full force to organize this great day of golf, benefitting the mission of Safe Connections.

Safe Connections Young Professionals Trivia Night...November 18
Members of the Safe Connections Young Professionals group serve as Safe Connections' ambassadors by raising awareness of our mission and critical funds to support agency programs. The Young Professionals 2011 Trivia Night was at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 18 at The Heights Community Center in Richmond Heights. We raised more money than the first year and had a significantly larger turnout for the event!

Quilt National...October 2-November 4
Since 1988, this biennial exhibition has been delivering the best of international fiber art to the St. Louis region. In 2009, this prominent juried show featured 85 pieces of quilt art, selected from more than 1,000 entries. The exhibition's celebration of the traditionally women's art form of quilting is a perfect springboard to celebrate the special women in our lives by sponsoring the show in their honor. Quilt National 2011 was held October 2 through November 4 at the Foundry Art Centre in St. Charles. We'll be posting exciting news about Quilt National 2013 soon...

Voices Ending Violence...November 7
Guests at this compelling one-hour dinner program heard stories and testimonials about how Safe Connections changes lives. A non-ticketed event, Voices Ending Violence invites guests to make a contribution to support our mission at the close of the formal remarks. Voices 2012 will be held on Wednesday, November 7 from 6-7 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Clayton.
