24-Hour Crisis Helpline
314.531.2003
The Helpline is a safe way to break the barriers of silence and isolation so often experienced after a trauma. The line is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by staff and volunteers who help callers assess their immediate safety needs and provide emotional support. Helpline staff provide callers with referrals for counseling, medical care, legal aid, shelter, and other needed services.
Safe Connections provides over-the-phone interpreters in more than 140 languages for Helpline callers.
Crisis Counseling Support Program
The Crisis Counseling Support Program (CCSP) is a crisis intervention program available to new clients assessed for individual therapy who are in need of immediate intervention and stabilization. The CCSP provides increased emotional and physical safety while the client is waiting for individual therapy. The CCSP also provides support, education, safety planning, and resources to manage the immediate crisis.
