We offer a variety of groups, classes, and workshops for teen clients. These can complement individual counseling or be used as stand-alone services. Through these programs, teens receive professional guidance and peer social support in a safe environment. All Safe Connections services are free of charge. Fall and Winter 2017-2018 Youth Programs
DBT-Informed Skills Group
Mondays, 6-7 p.m.
Thursdays, 6-7:30 p.m.
- Learn skills to increase mindfulness, tolerate distress, regulate emotions and become more effective in relationships in this group. This group is made up of five 6-week modules. Participants are required to have an individual therapist. Some parent/guardian participation is required.
Teen groups take place at our office and can be offered out in the community. They can be tailored to the needs of a specific teen population.
